Books in the donate bin

It’s Monday, and time for SBD.  I’ve been remiss lately.  Although I did a fair amount of reading over the weekend, it was in small page increments spread over many books.  As I boxed up books for either storage or donation, these are a few of the ones that are being given the boot:

  • The Unknown Twin by Kathryn Shay (HSR)
  • Madame Mirabou’s School of Love by Barbara Samuels (WF)
  • If Looks Could Kill by Kate White (Mystery)
  • Never Doubt I Love by Patricia Veryan (Georgian)
  • Flirting with Danger by Suzanne Enoch (RS)
  • A Gentleman Undone by Cecilia Grant (EH)
  • The Welshman’s Way by Margaret Moore (Medieval)
  • The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery (Edwardian) (discarding as a duplicate, not because it failed the 50 page test)
  • The Dancing Floor by Barbara Michaels (Contemporary gothic)

I got a handful of older categories in the little basket on my bedside table; the blurbs were interesting enough that I didn’t discard them, but they’ll be put to the test shortly.
